  • When is Miniature World open?

    At this time Miniature World is only open for private tours of our model making shop before our grand opening. Email us to make a reservation at [email protected].

  • Is the experience appropriate for all ages?

    All ages are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult, age 18 years or older.

  • Is Miniature World accessible to guests with disabilities?

    Yes, Miniature World is accessible to guests with disabilities.

  • Are strollers allowed?

    Yes, we allow strollers.

  • Are bags allowed?

    Yes, bags are allowed however, all small and large bags will be subject to search before entry into Miniature World.

  • Can I bring food or drinks into Miniature World?

    No food or drinks are allowed at Miniature World.

  • Do you sell gift cards?

    Yes, we sell gift cards online only.

  • How long does the exhibit take?

    Most people spend around 1.5 hours at Miniature World.

  • Do you offer Military pricing?

    Service-members-only (Active Military and retired military) pricing is $18 plus applicable tax. Must bring a valid military I.D. to our ticket office; this price is available in-person only.

  • What is your refund policy?

    There are no refunds on tickets. Any unused tickets may be redeemed up to 1 year from your original booking date. You can rebook anytime up to 3 days BEFORE your visit with no fee. If you don't contact us at least 3 days before, you can still rebook but will be charged a $10 fee per ticket.

  • Is there a minimum number of people for a group booking?

    We welcome groups of 15 or more. Information on group pricing and availability, please email us at [email protected].

  • What scale is the exhibit?

    Most elements will be in HO scale, which is 1:87.

  • How tall is a figure representing a six-foot tall person?

    0.8 inches

  • What will I see?

    The exhibit includes miniature scale models of well-known sites and places from around the world, connected by train tracks and highways featuring all manner of transportation — from horses and elephants to hot air balloons, jet planes and space shuttles.

We have a variety of scenes from places around the globe. As an American company and a New York venue there is an emphasis on scenes from the US, but other continents are represented too. All are packed action, surprises and humor.

  • How can I get involved?

    We are interested in building a community of supporters and contributors to help us develop our world. Whether you have your own miniature display, or you have ideas for scenes or storylines, let us know what you would like to see. We have no shortage of ideas, but we have so many possibilities that we want the best ideas from everywhere to make MINIATURE WORLD a more unique, ingenious, and exciting destination.

  • How long is the longest train track?

    475 ft. (145 m), which is the scale equivalent of about 8 miles (12.5 km), and that is just one part of our vast network of trains, roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels.
